Hot VoIP Deals Highlighted for November

By Rory Lidstone, TMCnet Contributing Writer

VoipReview.org is well-known for its frequent lists which tend to revolve around ways to save money with VoIP. For example, the site released some tips on saving money with mobile VoIP in June with a specific focus on summer activities. Its most recent list, however, is a bit more straightforward as it simply offers five hot deals on digital business phone services that are in effect right now.

The first pick is a deal from VoIP provider Vocalocity (News - Alert) which is available for this month only. To start with, the provider is offering up a free month of service for all new customers — but that’s not all. Vocalocity is throwing in an Internet-ready HD phone as well. That said, it’s possible business owners may be able to get another phone or two. After that first free month, Vocalocity charges $20 per seat, per month.

The next hot deal for this month is from Mitel (News - Alert). The company is offering not one, but two months of free service for new customers of its AnyWare complete business VoIP solution. Customers who take advantage of this promotion will also receive full access to Mitel’s dedicated customer service team. Mitel AnyWare regularly costs $17.50 per month, per seat — but that price is all inclusive, meaning it covers all necessary phones, adapters and high-speed Internet.

The other providers listed on VoipReviews.org’s hot deal list include RingCentral (News - Alert), Jive Communications and VoIP.com.

RingCentral makes the list for its $20 per seat, per month regular pricing which covers VoIP service, as well as a number of calling features, unlimited Internet faxing and unlimited nationwide minutes. Likewise, Jive Communications offers a monthly rate of roughly $20 per user and device but, being a hosted PBX (News - Alert) provider, Jive is able to take care of the servers for its users.

Finally, VoIP.com charges $18 per month for its own hosted PBX service, while SIP trunks are on offer for $11 each.
