Cbeyond Participating at Internet Telephony Conference & Expo East 2009

Cbeyond, an IP-based managed services provider to small businesses, announced it is leading six SIP Trunking educational sessions at TMC's Internet Telephony Conference & Expo East 2009, held February 2-4, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami.

According to the company, Cbeyond partners with thousands of value-added resellers and local area network consultants as well as IT and telecommunications consultants to resell its services, generating more than 20 percent of its annual revenue through the partner channel. Cbeyond has created one of the best performing channel partner programs in the industry, providing partners with sales support, training courses and marketing programs enabling partners to sell solutions that are deeply integrated with Cbeyond's voice, broadband, mobile, and IT services.

Among Cbeyond's speakers at the show is Chief Technology Officer Chris Gatch, who will co-lead the SIP Forum Best Practices Workshop on February 3, at 1 p.m. EST, focusing on building SIP Trunking solutions that are interoperable with SIPconnect.

Jason Walker, Cbeyond SIPconnect product manager, will lead an Ingate SIP Trunking Seminar session on February, 3, at 4 p.m. EST. The session will highlight how effective small business unified communications begins with the delivery of multiple services from a single provider.

Greg Rothman, Cbeyond director of Sales Engineering will lead three additional sessions including:
- Ingate SIP Trunking Seminar: Intro to SIP trunking, February 2, at 10:50 a.m. EST
- Ingate SIP Trunking Seminar: The Service Provider Perspective, February 2, at 2:25 p.m. EST
- Service Provider Conference Track Selected Speaker: SIP Trunking, Issues, Opportunities and Solutions, February 4, at 1:30 p.m. EST

Additionally, Rothman will be featured in a one-hour Response Point Service Provider Roundtable sponsored by Microsoft on February 4, at 11 a.m. EST. The roundtable discussion will highlight service provider's VoIP offerings as well as VAR and Agent programs created together with Microsoft leveraging the Microsoft Response Point platform.
