At ITEXPO West, cyLogistics Showcases TrueBill Version 2.0By Richard Grigonis, Executive Editor, IP Communications Group cyLogistics (News - Alert) is a specialty VoIP distributor that since 1989, has focused its efforts on the open enterprise market segment. They’ve stayed abreast of the latest technology for decades now, in the process delivering products to the ever-changing reseller channel, maintaining its position as a top supplier in Silicon Valley. The appearance and evolution of VoIP has dramatically transformed vendors, products, delivery vehicles, and channels.
The VoIP channel changed from the traditional interconnects to a composite of CLECs, Linux networking resellers, interconnects and others. Despite this, cyLogistics continues to offer best-of-breed technology from VoIP manufacturers and is always on the lookout for an opportunity to work with new manufacturers to deliver an exciting, new technology to the cyLogistics channel.
At TMC’s (News - Alert) ITEXPO West in Los Angeles, cyLogistics was on hand, ready to discuss with attendees the many benefits of its TrueBill, an award-winning billing solution that supports pre-paid, post-paid, real-time, on-demand, tax functions and a great deal more to VoIP telephony providers with either ASP, purchase programs or with leasing options.
TrueBill Version 2.0 now integrates with Ring Carrier, an open source softswitch provider. By integrating open source technology from various sources with its own proprietary code, Ring Carrier delivers sophisticated, flexible switching software technology with interfaces for providers, enterprises, and end-users. With it, providers can scale from hundreds to millions of customers via its ability to support 50 to 75 hosted Asterisk (News - Alert) PBXs on a single PC, making it a highly cost-effective solution for network operators such as an ITSP, LEC or CLEC VoIP telephony provider. Moreover, multiple Ring Carrier servers can work in concert to handle thousands of hosted PBX (News - Alert) solutions and millions of endpoints.
In its integration with Ring Carrier, TrueBill handles Call Detail Records (CDR) adroitly and seamlessly, so telephony providers can set up an immense number of customer subscription plans which are based on various rates established by carriers.
Don Witt, president of cyLogistics, said, “At ITEXPO (News - Alert) West, Ring Carrier will be introducing a contact center solution integrated into Ring Carrier. Using the same fabric technology as applied to the PBX environment, the provider can create a call center environment for the campaign of any individual operation. They’re also introducing an enterprise gateway that both provides NAT and can route calls locally within the organization rather than sending the call out to the provider and back again. That way, no bandwidth in and out of the company is wasted.”
