Call Recording Provider Deploys Tensoft Revenue and Deferral Management Solution

OAISYS (News - Alert), a developer of call recording and contact center management solutions, has deployed the end-to-end Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and supply chain solutions from Tensoft to streamline its revenue recognition processes and enable easier reporting among other benefits.


The call recording provider has selected Tensoft Revenue and Deferral Management (RDM), a Certified for Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics solution, which also provides tight bi-directional integration across the General Ledger and sub-ledgers. The company offers business management applications designed to automate industry-specific lifecycle processes for the semiconductor, technology and software industries, according to company officials.

Tensoft RCM Applications for Microsoft Dynamics, in combination with the core financial and reporting capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics ERP, Tensoft Revenue Cycle Management applications, such as Tensoft RDM, provides an integrated solution that automates a company's lifecycle business processes such as billing and contract renewals as well as revenue recognition and FASB compliance management, using fully auditable and traceable processes.

"Tensoft RDM was developed from the ground up to support technology companies' multi-channel sales models and their highly complex revenue recognition challenges," said Bob Scarborough, Tensoft's president and CEO, in a statement. "We're pleased to be working with OAISYS to help them with their specific revenue recognition needs."

OAISYS provides call recording and call center management solutions to a wide range of organizations. A recent winner of Customer Interaction Solutions Product of the Year award, the OAISYS voice documentation and interaction management solutions help companies digitally capture phone-based interactions for simple retrieval, playback and management.

"Our sales model includes resellers, OEM distribution, traditional licenses, subscription sales, maintenance plans and professional services offerings, so there's considerable complexity in our revenue recognition processes," said Doug Ames, OAISYS director of Operations. "We've just implemented Tensoft RDM, but we're already seeing benefits, including streamlined revenue recognition processes and easier reporting.”
