If you aren’t a regular user of one, you might be surprised as to how much using a headset can simplify your workday.
Just having a phone handset in your hand can distract you from multi-tasking while on a call. Imagine having both hands free to write or type while on the phone, or in some cases, the capability to get up from your desk and walk around using a wireless headset.
VXi Corporation sells a variety of different headsets to accommodate to the broad spectrum of office professionals depending on each users’ preference and needs. VXi prides its headset models with fully-functional devices that provide people will the convenience and ability to multi-task while on a call.
On the company’s website, the wireless headset provider even goes as far as allowing users to fill out a short survey identifying what they look for in a headset. The survey asks questions like where you will be using your headset the most, for how long, the noise level of your environment and how you prefer to wear you headset.
After you answer the questions provided, the survey will take your personal requirements and provide you with a number of suggested VXi headsets that match your specific headset needs.
After I filled out the survey, it suggested the VXi V100 Wireless Headset, which I coincidentally already have and use in the office on a daily basis.
While on a call, I can walk around my office, visit the copier or kitchen, and never have to worry about losing a call. The V100 headset allows users to travel 300 feet from its base and if you go too far, the earpiece will politely alert the user to turn around before you lose your call. This is an especially important feature when on important client calls that you can’t afford to lose.
If you are currently using a headset at work, I highly recommend upgrading to VXi’s V100 Wireless Headset. While most headsets in the past contain you to sitting at your desk while on the phone, the V100 provides the option of multitasking while eliminating risking missed calls while being away from your desk.
