Telefield (News - Alert) NA, a provider of telecommunications products to SMB's in North and South America, recently announced that its RCA by Telefield VoIP phones will be used by Vocal IP Networx with its HPBX Hosted PBX (News - Alert) Platform.
The integration of RCA by Telefield VoIP phones with HPBX Hosted PBX Platform will help the companies offer a comprehensive suite of solutions to VoIP providers to meet the needs of small, medium and enterprise customers. The solutions will shorten the work cycle of organizations as well as enable employees to work more effectively and productively.

In related news, Telefield, along with Cyan, was recently awarded a contract to deliver e-government applications in support of the two million citizens living in Jeollanam-Do province located in southwest South Korea. The province covers 22 cities and has a population of two million people. The companies are selected as the exclusive SDN and packet-optical solution provider for the provincial government s Carrier Ethernet network transformation project. Applications delivered by the network upgrade include Internet, VoIP and video conferencing.
