Voiceserve to Present at GITEX Technology Week and Futurecom

By Anil Sharma, TMCnet Contributor

Voiceserve, Inc., a low-cost, next-generation Internet telephony software and service provider, will be presenting its VoIP software and solutions this month at the GITEX Technology Week from Oct. 17-21 in Dubai and the FutureCOM in Sao Paulo from Oct. 25-28.

GITEX Technology is one of the most influential and high-profile events in the global information and communication technology sector.

FutureCOM is Latin America’s largest and most qualified event of the telecommunications and information technology sectors, taking place in the TransAmerica Expo Center in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

“These are the two most important technology conferences in their respective parts of the world providing invaluable access to telecom and VoIP professionals -- potential customers for Voiceserve,” said Michael Bibleman, CEO for Voiceserve, in a statement.

Bibleman said that in the past similar conferences, the company received considerable attention and generated in excess of 250 leads at each conference.

“Our engineers have developed industry leading apps for mobile phone use that further enhance Voiceserve’s overall product offering,” he said.

Bibleman said that the cost efficiencies of VoIP and the comprehensiveness of Voiceserve’s VoIPSwitch softswitch and IP PBX (News - Alert) products and Vippie dialers make the company a strong attraction at conferences.

Officials with Voiceserve said that the company has also released a new version of its VoIP dialer for Blackberry cell phones that supports Blackberry’s latest OS 6.0 operating system.

Company officials said that the new VoIP dialer provides a more fluid VoIP user experience and improved voice quality.

Voiceserve’s upgraded dialer currently works on Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) phones, a standard for mobile telephony used in over 200 countries, worldwide.

The company is also working on a Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) version, the dominant network standard for North America and parts of Asia, which it expects to release shortly.

“We worked out some of the quirks of our previous dialer, especially issues with non-Voiceserve, SIP servers. The result is an improved dialer with enriched voice quality. We are increasingly excited over new capabilities being developed at Voiceserve,” said Chris Olgaza, CTO for Voiceserve.

Olgaza said that apps such as video on demand and video conference for cell phones are in final testing and are expected to be available over the next few months.

He claimed that Voiceserve’s VoIP software, services and apps are securing a growing market share in Europe and the Middle East, and the company is building a stronger marketing effort in the United States and Latin America.
