The 7xx series of desktop IP phones from snom technology are now completely interoperable with Brekeke (News - Alert) PBX from Brekeke Software.
Interoperability follows a rigorous validation testing process for snom's 710, 720 and 760 business phones that now completely integrate with Brekeke PBX (News - Alert).
The free cloud-based provisioning tool from snom, called Active, ensures that the endpoint can now be auto provisioned through Brekeke's PBX, which in turn allows for quick and easy installation and simplified management directly through PBX.
This announcement is good news for businesses of all sizes, as a combination of snom 7xx series phones and Brekeke PBX can deliver a complete and affordable end-to-end voice solution for clients.
"The snom 7xx series meets the needs of businesses looking for reliable, high function VoIP phones that control telecom costs and help make workers more productive," said Dr. Michael Knieling (News - Alert), snom technology AG chief operating officer.
Through this alliance, Brekeke PBX will enable seamless auto provisioning and quick deployment for Value Added Resellers (VARs) and cloud-hosted PBX providers. Also, end users will now be able to access snom's newest family of desktop phones, which address business requirement and budget for all types of organizations.
Snom develops IP desktop phones and communications solutions. Its 7xx series VoIP telephones use snom's eighth generation Session Initiation Protocol (News - Alert) (SIP) firmware allowing interoperability with a range of SIP-based IP-PBXs and softswitches.
Brekeke Software develops SIP software products for IP network communications and its PBX solution provides reliable and scalable IP communications for enterprises and service providers.
"Snom has been recognized as a leading VoIP phone manufacturer for years and we are pleased to continue to expand our partnership," said Shin Yamade, president and CEO of Brekeke Software. "We are also very confident that their proven technology, combined with Brekeke's reliable and robust platform, will provide a complete solution for our customers."
Snom was in news earlier this year for announcing that its 7xx series of desktop IP phones are interoperable with Epygi (News - Alert) Technologies’ full line of Quadro IP PBX products.
