Kolmisoft Unveils Newest VoIP Switch with Billing and Routing

Kolmisoft, a provider of a VoIP switch with billing and routing software, announced the latest version of its advanced VoIP Softswitch with Billing and Routing functionality.

Dubbed as MOR 11, the new VoIP switch enables alternative telecoms to significantly improve their voice services. The solution supports expanded API, improved active calls monitoring and improved online cash flow monitoring. A new functionality allows telecoms to build their own clouds and launch a virtual multiline business telephone system, or PBX (News - Alert).

“With hundreds of new features, this new version of MOR is the easiest and fastest way for voice service providers to increase profits from their daily operations,” said Mindaugas Kezys, CEO of Kolmisoft, in a statement. “MOR 11 gives every telecom the tool they need to control the quality of calls, improve their service level and protect voice services from hacking and money loss.”

MOR 11 includes a new application programming interface (API) that allows telecoms to integrate their billing and routing data with any ERP, CRM or accounting software. This integration accelerates customer service processes and allows service providers to increase sales due to more flexible pricing, customized offers and service assurance and fulfillment.

With the new Active Calls functionality, administrators can see the particular calls that are in the system at that moment. If administrators notice any fluctuation, they can react in real time in order to assure system stability by reconfiguring calls or changing prices and/or call directions.

A new Monitoring Addon gives customers the ability to set and customize traffic and credit limits for any particular telecom customer and react when the limits are reached. E-mail alerts are sent to the customer if any irregularity occurs. The customer can be blocked if traffic increases significantly. With these features, MOR minimizes the risks of money loss due to traffic hacking.

“Traffic hacking is a big headache for VoIP telecoms. There’re millions of people using VoIP, and any secure system is incapable of avoiding illegal access if user passwords are guessed or disclosed. MOR provides effective alerting to minimize money loss even if the telecom’s infrastructure is hacked,” said Mindaugas Kezys.

Additional capabilities provided in MOR 11 extend the previous system version, from voice calls billing and routing to comprehensive virtual PBX. By using MOR 11, companies can make connections among internal telephones and eliminate the need to manage or pay for on-site hardware maintenance.

The new version is available as a free upgrade for existing users who use previous version of MOR in the Software as a Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) model, the company said.

Recently Kolmisoft announced a partnership with Colocation America (News - Alert) to help Colocation America bolster its offerings of professional VoIP billing and routing solutions by combining Kolmisoft’s MOR VoIP billing software solution.
