At this current time, the amount of employees that work from home remotely is growing at a rapid pace and this trend has had a significant impact on communications technology. Due to this increasingly popular migration, there are many VoIP solutions that have been designed to measure up to the increasing demands from customers.
A just released study by Companies and Markets has revealed that the IP telephony markets in the United States are “reaching maturity”, an article featured on Telappliant.com stated. According to the website, the report forecasts that 20 percent of all business telephony will be hosted by 2020, as more consumers continue to realize the multiple benefits associated with the technology.
Furthermore, the research shows that VoIP solutions will continue to be implemented by small businesses who have very limited budgets, while larger organizations who have much less worries when it comes to capital are already transitioning to a unified communications environment.
Recently, Analyst Rob Enderle commented in a statement that two of the main obstacles to VoIP hardware becoming more widely integrated in business operations include the changes that are required for the move as well as in some cases complete opposition to the migration. He added as soon as consumers become better educated about the countless advantages of VoIP solutions, it is highly possible that “a VoIP revolution will likely take place.”
In other VoIP news, TMCnet reported that Teo, a provider of telephone and network solutions including Unified Communications (News - Alert), VoIP solutions, E911 and secure TSG-6 offerings, has just unveiled a professional softphone that was created for telephone operators and receptionists in any organization.
The innovative Voice Operator Panel was made for a single user to be able to easily manage a high volume of inbound calls and then send them simultaneously to organizational recipients, through a touch screen monitor that has a drag and drop-style interface.
