VoIP phone systems provider Allworx announced today the appointment of Jason Beckett as the company’s new Director of Sales.

 

Beckett brings almost two decades of channel experience in the telecom industry to his new position, in which he is responsible for managing and expanding Allworx’s network of channel partners.

 

“Jason brings contacts and a wealth of industry experience to Allworx, and we’re excited to add him to our team,” said Allworx CEO George Daddis, in a statement. “I look forward to working with Jason to help drive our award-winning products further into the SMB marketplace.”

 

Most recently, Beckett served as Vice President of Business Development for King Technologies, where he helped grow that company’s distribution channel and reseller programs.

 

Prior to King Technologies, Beckett held the role of Senior Vice President of Marketing for Estech Systems. During his tenure there he doubled the number of resellers and grew sales by more than 100 percent.

 

Beckett’s career before Allworx also included stints at Samsung (News - Alert) Telecommunications America (Director of Sales in the Business Communications Systems (News - Alert) division) and Comdial Corporation (various roles including Regional Sales Representative and Director of Product Planning).

 

Beckett holds a bachelor of science degree from Boston University’s School of Public Communications and recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Executive Management, with a degree in the area of strategic thinking and management.
