VoIP Equipment Leader Embraces Spirit of Giving Back as Holidays Approach

By Carrie Schmelkin, TMCnet Web Editor

VoIP equipment provider VoIP Supply is certainly embracing the holiday spirit as the company recently announced that it will be donating 1,000 turkey dinners to the Buffalo City Mission to feed needy families this Thanksgiving.

Only weeks ago, the City Mission announced that it “still needs donations to help feed many impacted families this year,” and VoIP Supply is stepping up as part of its civic duty, according to company offiicals.

“We have experienced remarkable success and feel strongly about giving back to the community,” said Garrett Smith (News - Alert), VoIP Supply’s CMO. “Thriving local companies like VoIP Supply have an obligation to be socially responsible and civic aware. We’re happy to help and know that fewer families will go hungry this holiday season. As a company that likes a good challenge, we challenge other Buffalo area companies to match or exceed our commitment this year.”

In other company news, VoIP Supply received some pretty cool kudos recently as THRIVE! Magazine took the time to acknowledge innovative Western New York companies that dedicate themselves to enhancing the community’s quality of life and adding value to customers.

VoIP Supply was one company that was highlighted and touted for its ability to capitalize on emerging markets and create a company culture that not only weathered the economic downturn but continued to thrive in the Buffalo-Niagara region.

“Founder and CEO Benjamin Sayers creates a prototype product, hires a developer, proves it in the marketplace and creates a business around it,” THRIVE! wrote about the VoIP equipment company. The magazine noted that Sayers has proven himself “time and again,” as he has helped VoIP Supply grow consistently over the last four years, win numerous national awards, and achieve over $25 million in sales in four years.
