Phybridge (News - Alert), a provider of risk-free IP telephony infrastructure, today announced its UniPhyer offering has been rated compliant with telephony solutions from Avaya.

 

According to officials with Phybridge, UniPhyer is a simple, customer centric VoIP enabler offering a low-cost, risk free, quick migration path to IP telephony.

 

The new compliance with Avaya (News - Alert), Steven Fair, Phybridge EVP said, “Assures customers we have been tested with the market leading Telephony provider” and that together with Avaya, companies have “a world class transition strategy from TDM to IP Telephony.”

 

Specifically, the VoIP enabler has been compliance-tested for compatibility with Avaya Aura Communication Manager 5.2, Avaya Aura Communication Manager Branch 2.0, Avaya IP Office 5.0 and all current Avaya IP telephones.

 

With UniPhyer, businesses have the chance to leverage VoIP at lower costs and with minimal business disruption as the IP-PBX (News - Alert) and IP end-point enabler “leverage existing telephony cabling as a dedicated voice path, working in parallel with the existing LAN.”  This reduces both the risk and cost factors that have kept some businesses from making to move to VoIP.

 

This latest announcement also means partners can now easily transition their clients to the Avaya solution of their choice using Phybridge UniPhyer.
