Aculab, a provider of enabling technology for the global communications market and a company that offers VoIP developers the hardware and software they need for high performance, wired and wireless communications solutions, has announced that Porta One Stop Technologies (POSTcti) is now a strategic partner for their ApplianX range and will carry the portfolio as its strategic channel partner in the U.K.

 

POSTcti is a Value Added Distributor in EMEA that offers converged IP, voice and video communications technologies and services. 

 

By including Aculab's (News - Alert) ApplianX products in their offering, the company is able to reach into new markets and help their customers more easily reach their communications goals.

 

Aculab's ApplianX offerings help reduce operational costs, are simple to use and make it possible to integrate with and extend the life of existing TDM-based equipment.

Specifically, POSTcti will be carrying the entire ApplianX portfolio, which includes the ApplianX IP Gateway (News - Alert) and the ApplianX Gateway for Microsoft OCS offering "high availability through the replication of components that are critical or prone to failure," and the ApplianX Gateway for Microsoft (News - Alert) which includes the Mediation server function of Office Communications Server, to avoid the need to purchase an additional server to house the Mediation server software.

POSTcti will also offer the ApplianX DPNSS-to-Q.SIG Gateway which allows enterprises to extend the life of their DPNSS-based PBX (News - Alert) as well as utilize new IP PBX solutions.
