Aculab (News - Alert), a provider of enabling technology for solution providers and VoIP
developers, has announced they will demonstrate the latest version of their VoiceXML (News - Alert)/CCXML interpreter software at ACE 2008.
ACE 2008 is the company's annual partner event featuring presentations from industry experts and opinion leaders and offering attendees the opportunity to learn about Aculab's product roadmap and future developments. This year's event will take place from March 31st to April 2nd in Scottsdale, Arizona and will highlight topics like security, intelligent and next generation networks, VoiceXML/CCXML, SIP
and a number of other topics.
With Aculab’s VoiceXML/CCXML interpreter software, VoIP developers and PSTN telephony service developers can implement standards-based interfaces for IVR
, voice portals, conferencing services, voicemail, and a number of other applications.
Because the software eliminates the need to develop native products APIs, it speeds up the application development process and creates a faster time to market.
The company also notes the software is unique in the market because it offers, "linear scalability, N+1 redundancy, support for a range of telecoms protocols, including SIP, H.323
and SS7, remote OAM&P capabilities and low cost per channel," all of which "create a matchless functionality set required by fixed and mobile telephony service providers."
With the software package from Aculab, telephony service providers receive in the same software license, both VoiceXML, which is used for creating interactive dialogues between callers and telephony servers, and CCXML, for call control, intelligent call routing
and outbound dialing.
“Aculab’s ACE event is a unique opportunity to learn about new technology, see it in action and network with the lead developers that created it”, said Herman Abel (News - Alert), Product Manager at Aculab in a statement to the press.
“VoiceXML and CCXML are going to be key topics at the event, educating the delegates on the best practices for leveraging new technology to address the challenges of their business.”
