-
Advisor for governmental and research agencies, and corporations in the telecommunications industry
-
A frequent guest lecturer at universities in Europe, Asia, and North and South America
“For many years I have keenly followed RAD’s leadership role in pioneering solutions supporting multiple services across various types of network architectures, protocols, and technologies,” Kofman said in a statement. “RAD’s multidisciplinary expertise enables it to quickly develop solutions for a wide range of applications, and I look forward to contributing to the company’s record of success.”
Efraim Wachtel, President and CEO of RAD Data, commented in a statement that: “Dr. Kofman will undoubtedly make a significant contribution to RAD’s strategy regarding future technologies and applications.”
Hugo Silberman, RAD’s Vice President of Research and Development, added that one of Kofman’s jobs in his new role will be to strengthen the company’s working relationship with the European Commission and its IST-related projects.
“Professor Kofman will work to increase our activity in standardization forums and intensify our cooperation with universities in Europe and throughout the world,” Silberman said.
