After recently adding some classical additions to the company’s open source music community, and with the dating Web site Amazon Kindle contest, it seemed that open-source VoIP consultancy company CallFire.com was making many attempts to attract customers to its dynamic auto dialer and voice broadcast systems.
However, not only is CallFire’s services turning out to have a fun side, but the company recently reported that it has an environmentally friendly side too.
After recently attending a green technology conference, CallFire showcased its green ideas and practices for ways call centers or customer relationship management, or “CRM,” companies can improve their services, while reducing detriment to the environment.
“Businesses and organizations can use our Cloud Call Center to hire employees or volunteers that can work out of their homes instead of commuting into a traditional call center, and creating pollution,” CallFire officials said.
With a conference full of environmentally friendly services, such as food and water, as well as biodegradable plastic, CallFire was showcased as a company in the constant progression to become a greener professional establishment by offering services that make customers operations more environmentally sound as well.
“The green perception of CallFire was well received at the conference, and we made some good industry connections,” CallFire officials said, adding that the organic fair trade chocolate from Sweet Earth and Shaman attracted people to the CallFire booth.
Additionally, the telephone number listed on the plantable seed paper band was an ice breaker into what CallFire does, company officials said.
Visitors of CallFire’s booth could enter to win an iPod nano by calling a toll free CallFire number that the company sells for the call tracking and call forwarding product.
