eero Expanding Reach with New PoE Business Gateways

An Amazon company, eero, is focused on bringing better Wi-Fi experiences. It is now expanding its reach to professional installers and small businesses with the release of new solutions – the eero PoE 6 and eero PoE Gateways Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices.

For professional installers or businesses, these new offerings are designed to make installing, setting up, and managing Wi-Fi services simple. Using the eero mobile app, eero devices, and automatic software updates there’s everything they need in one offering to deliver fast, reliable Wi-Fi. In today’s business environment, that’s a must-have.

For small businesses, eero for Business also offers hardware and software capabilities so they can access a professional-grade Wi-Fi solution and have dedicated customer support when it comes time to deploy and manage the Wi-Fi network. It also allows for public guest networks to be set up and offers network insights and security features for businesses.

The eero PoE 6, a dual-band WiFi 6 PoE access point, offers up to 2,000 square feet of coverage and supports more than 100 connected devices. It can be placed wherever an ethernet cable would exist and can easily be flush mounted to walls and ceilings.

With the eero PoE Gateway, installers have access to a high-performance wired gateway that

supports Internet service speeds up to 10 Gbps. It has two 10 gigabit Ethernet (GbE) ports and eight PoE-enabled 2.5 GbE ports. It can power a range of PoE devices, including access points and security cameras using the available 100W of PoE power output in conjunction with the 140 W eero power adapter.
