Yamaha Expands Microsoft Teams Interoperability

June 21, 2022

Unified communications solutions continue to lead the charge for businesses of all sizes today. From removing geographical limitations, to fostering productivity and efficiency, these solutions are being used by teams across the globe.

To make it even easier for productive meetings to happen, Yamaha has been certifying its conferencing solutions for Microsoft Teams. Its latest certification includes the ADECIA Tabletop Solution which is designed for medium size rooms and provides crystal clear audio, easy installation and high-quality interactions while in a Teams meeting.

With the ADECIA solution, it’s easy to detect and automatically connect all system components to work within the room environment where it’s being used. Based on the location of speakers and microphones, reverberation, and echo behavior, it auto adjusts to work optimally using the system's configurator. It also includes USB, Bluetooth, Dante, and analog connections to work with a variety of meeting spaces.

The newly certified Yamaha RM-TT wired tabletop array microphone has a low-profile form factor and features Yamaha's powerful sound technologies. With automatic voice tracking, gain control, adaptive echo cancellation, noise reduction, and reverberation suppression - it’s possible to achieve optimal collaboration experiences.

"In a world of hybrid meetings, meeting room audio quality is key to creating equity between people inside the meeting room and remotely.” said Albert Kooiman, Senior Director, Microsoft Teams Devices Partner Engineering and Certification at Microsoft Corp. “Yamaha has a long tradition of delivering audio excellence, and with achieving certification for Microsoft Teams, the RM-TT brings quality in-room and remote audio to the Teams experience.”
