Ytel Unveils New UCaaS Offering

Cloud communications solutions company Ytel recently announced the launch of a new UCaaS solution, offering customers a completely unified, multi-channel communications experience.

Described by Ytel representatives as a “communication triangle”, the solution combines business phone and video support (UCaaS) with contact center software (CCaaS) and API capabilities(CPaaS). With this offering, businesses benefit from highly advanced communications at every angle, without the need to introduce additional equipment or overhaul existing infrastructure.

Ytel executives decided to create the UCaaS solution after receiving numerous requests from existing customers.

“We were shocked to find out that only 20% of businesses had migrated to cloud-based phone systems. For years, our existing customers, particularly those using our cloud contact center software, have been encouraging us to provide a phone system that their entire workforce could use – not just their contact center agents,” said Brian Keep, COO of Ytel. “They weren’t getting the multi-channel tools or HD call quality from their phone system that they had come to expect with Ytel’s cloud contact center. It was with these customers in mind that we committed to adding Ytel UCaaS into our product offering.”

Thanks to shifting work trends ushered in by the pandemic, businesses are embracing a hybrid approach, working with the support of cloud-based digital communications. Although business customers have more options than ever for cloud services, many are selecting all-in-one packages to reduce deployment complexity.
