Vodia Networks, a Massachusetts-based provider of VoIP and virtual PBX solutions, recently announced that it has successfully completed interoperability with Skyetel, an independent telecom carrier based in Vancouver, Washington with customers in all 50 states and all Canadian provinces. Skyetel’s multi-tenant, sip trunking platform is configured for resellers to easily connect with Vodia to provision and manage their DID inventory – resellers can take advantage of relationship pricing without any contracts, commitments or upfront fees.

What the interoperability announcement means is that customers who are running the Vodia multi-tenant PBX can now use Skyetel to maintain an accurate call record for each customer. This makes it possible to have hundreds of tenants and bill them accordingly based on the tenant domain name on the Vodia PBX, according to Vodia’s blog.

The successful interoperability of Vodia’s award-winning cloud PBX software with Skyetel sip trunks provides Skyetel customers with Vodia’s certified, award-winning VoIP telephone system – Vodia’s cloud PBX features SIP endpoints compatible with MS Teams and all the built-in telephony options required to work from anywhere. The Skyetel SIP trunk can be easily configured with the Vodia PBX trunk template – find out how with this step-by-step guide.

“At Vodia, we believe in empowering our partners, and to this end we give them the industry’s best cloud PBX – it’s feature-rich, and we’re constantly at work improving it,” said Kyle Asbury, Director of Sales and Marketing at Vodia, in a statement. “We love how Skyetel has created a brandable, adaptive white label environment. Skyetel has had 100 percent uptime since 2014, when the company was founded, and its customer satisfaction ratings are stratospheric! We’re proud to partner with them, and we look forward to seeing Skyetel resellers throughout North America deploying our PBX.”

Vodia notes that for companies using both technologies, it’s easy to configure.

“The Skyetel trunk template is already configured to send the tenant information to Skyetel's network,” wrote Vodia’s Hamlet Collado. “This means you will need to name the tenant that's on the Vodia PBX phone system to be the same on the Skyetel's administrator portal under tenant ---> manage.”
