Verizon Business and RingCentral Strike Cloud-Based Solutions Partnership

Verizon Business and RingCentral are joining for a strategic partnership to bring cloud-based communications and work applications to enterprise clients.


As the global workforce slowly enters back into the office, the two companies decided to combine talents and resources to provide large-scaled businesses with the necessary tools to maintain a productive hybrid work environment. As a part of this new partnership, Verizon and RingCentral will be working to develop RingCentral with Verizon, a new integrated unified-communications-as- a-service (UCaaS) solution that will provide businesses with team messaging, video meetings, cloud-based phone capabilities, as well as complete IT support and coverage.

The new relationship marks an important step for the growth strategy of Verizon Business, as the company hopes to gain momentum as a major player in the network-as-a-service field. The companies hope to capitalize on emerging technologies like 5G, SD-WAN, and mobile-edge computing, and provide clients with the diverse communications methods needed to thrive in the post-pandemic economy.
