Numeracle/Aegis Mobile Offer Solution for Identity Verification

Identify management solution company Numercle has teamed up with compliance service provider Aegis Mobile to offer customers a comprehensive verification solution for business communications. The announcement comes only a month before a deadline mandated by the FCC, forcing service providers to provide call identification software for improved caller accuracy.

The solution, Numeracle's Entity Identity Management™, allows BPO organizations and call centers to better manage phone number usage so they aline with local policies. With this technology communication providers can verify business identities and legal operational status, to provide callers with protection from fraudulent activity. The need for improved verification comes from the rise in spam/robo calls that have surged in recent years, focing the FCC to retaliate in an effort to prevent attacks on customer data.

"The FCC's Enforcement Bureau issued two more cease-and-desist letters to voice service providers suspected of facilitating illegal robocalls this month," said Rebekah Johnson, Founder & CEO, Numeracle.
