Alianza Finalizes Acquisition of UCaaS Provider CounterPath

Cloud communications platform provider Alianza has officially closed a deal to purchase CounterPath, a Vancouver-based Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solutions company. The purchase will combine resources to claim a larger portion of the $48 billion global UCaaS industry, and bring a new array of communications features to Alianza’s global customer base.

Customers will now have full access to  cloud voice, video conferencing, and text messaging for businesses using  Bria® softphones and Stretto™ services through Alianza’s cloud platform. The acquisition will also expand Alianza’s research and development into cloud technology, unified communications, and mobile applications.
