8x8 Unveils Winter 2021 Platform Enhancements

Cloud computing platform provider 8x8 has announced a variety of new product enhancements to assist employees and customer operations. 8x8 has made it a priority to provide a wide range of features under a single platform. According to research by Metrigy, organizations using multiple cloud services saw lower customer service ratings and lower revenue compared to single service users.


The Winter 2021 release boasts easy functionality, heightened security, as well as new partnerships with leading companies such as Microsoft Teams, to allow seamless integration into other popular business and communication software.

New features include upgrades to the 8x8 work app, which allows voice, video meetings and team chat for customers and employees on any device. Customers also have access to 8x8 Quality Management and Speech Analytics for both inbound and outbound voice, allowing customers to share contextual examples of interactions with teams and individuals for training purposes. And 8x8’s Nomadic E911 helps customers become compliant with Kari’s Law and RAY BAUM’s Act, by providing dynamic user location information for emergency callers with notifications.
