Darren Schreiber Added to CCA's Board of Directors

2600Hz, the cloud-based business communications provider, has just announced that CEO Darren Schreiber will now be a member of the Cloud Communications Alliance (CCA) Board of Directors. The CCA is a global non-profit organization committed to advancing the cloud communications industry through education and peer support.

“The Cloud Communications Alliance is proud to welcome 2600Hz’s Darren Schreiber to our Board of Directors,” commented Joe Marion, President of the CCA. “Darren’s knowledge of CPaaS and his experience in creating a unique open-source VoIP platform will help the CCA continue in our mission to be the voice and thought leaders in the cloud communications industry. It’s an honor to have Darren on our Board.”

Scheriber has been the CEO of 2600Hz since he co-created the company with Patrick Sullivan in 2010. Prior to starting 2600Hz, Schriber spent more than three decades in the telecommunications industry.  Outside of his leadership role, Scheiber has made major contributions to the open-source telecom community, such as co-authoring books and mentoring at universities.
