Fuze Announces Enhancements to Enterprise Communication Offering

Cloud communications provider Fuze has announced new updates and enhancements were added to its enterprise communications offering. The addition of click to call escalation to video, screen share and multimedia messaging service support are among just some of the latest features to help enterprises in achieving more productive engagements.

According to company officials, the new updates for its global voice offering for desktop, mobile and contact centers means users can increase the reliability of internal and external communications happening at the enterprise level.

New mobile-focused features provide access to communications capabilities for users while they are on the go. This includes functionalities that were once only accessible from a desktop.

Contact center agents can also now participate in calls from their mobile devices.

“A UCaaS platform must provide users with simple and intuitive controls over how and when communications occur, with global voice at its core,” explained Jed Brown, SVP of Product at Fuze.

New features also incorporate user preferences when it comes to platform choice for receiving multimedia messages.

“When moving from PBX systems to cloud communications, a major pain point is connectivity, as users often don’t think about voice quality until it’s lacking. Our continued investment in voice offerings for desktop and mobile workers reflects our commitment to fueling employee productivity, regardless of device.”

The company also recently announced the launch of its end user adoption strategy and the “Fuze Adoption Services and Adoption Playbook” which includes information gleaned from its decade of enterprise deployment experience. With the framework, enterprise organizations can move forward on critical fronts of employee productivity and engagement using the Fuze platform.
