Recent Research Spotlights Hosted PBX Market

Recent research from Eastern Management Group offered insight into the Hosted PBX Market, exploring drivers of growth in addition to the key factors impacting this space.

Eastern Management found that more than half of the 23,000 IT managers and vendors surveyed are replacing legacy phone systems with hosted PBX. Cost is serving as the top driver of growth in the space. Providers are seeing accelerated adoption of cloud services in the retail, educational, professional services and healthcare verticals.

Growing businesses are the largest segment of the Hosted PBX space, with the most popular UC apps being collaboration, presence, BYOD, mobility and VoIP. The team can now make anywhere the office, enabling the growing trends of the virtual contact center and remote workforce.

“Every business is digitally transforming to accelerate productivity, increase customer loyalty through better customer experiences and gain a competitive edge. The need for seamless communications and collaboration has never been greater,” explained Daniel Farrar, EVP and General Manager  UCaaS, Mitel.

Hosted PBX and its sibling VoIP solutions are on the path to ubiquity, as communications will always be a critical component of business and frankly, the future is now.
