CounterPath Enhancing Your PBX
There’s an app for that. Something we’ve all heard, and probably said more than we’d like to admit – but it’s true. For business communications, this can turn frustrating quickly, as it is important to take a more unified and seamless approach to collaboration. So, the ability to leverage one interface to drive productivity is invaluable.
CounterPath is aiming to deliver just that with the release of its new cloud-based Stretto Collaboration solution. The SaaS solution is an extension to any existing PBX deployment as an overlay, making it possible to add collaboration, screen sharing, messaging, presence, HD video and voice to one’s current deployment without changing infrastructure.
“Stretto Collaboration addresses a major gap in the market by allowing end users to use a Bria softphone for all UC services across geographically-dispersed internal and external teams,” said Todd Carothers, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at CounterPath.
Setting sites on the enterprise market puts CounterPath in a position to take part in a space expected to each $49.51 billion by 2021.
In selecting the Stretto Collaboration, and augmenting PBX capability a team gains the support of audio/video conferences of up to 200 people, easily adjustable video settings, a number of one-click features (instant screen sharing, adding new participant, initiate a multiparty conference, etc.), team messaging, server-based HD audio and video recording with cloud storage and more.
“Leveraging the user-friendly Bria interface, Stretto Collaboration was designed with the goal of mirroring how users actually want to work and interact. Rather than requiring users to install additional software and plugins, or forcing the IT department to significantly update their communications deployment, Stretto Collaboration enables customers to utilize their preferred devices and leverage their existing infrastructure, reducing complexity and cost,” Carothers added.
Complexity and cost shouldn’t keep companies from high levels of collaboration. Let the cloud show you the way.
