Communications have come a long way. The evolution taking place is cloud-powered, steered by data-driven decision-making and all about integration. Seeking feature-rich and future-forward communications solutions can prove to be quite daunting, herculean in fact. Fret not, for industry accolades and awards can lend a hand in distinguishing the best from the rest.

Recently, VirtualPBX was awarded with a Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award for its VirtualPBX Desktop Softphone. The solution highlighted a streamlined and user friendly VirtualPBX Dash VoIP for business, and its Salesforce CRM integration.

“The VirtualPBX Desktop Softphone is truly an innovative product and this integration makes it one of the best communications solutions brought to market this year,” said Rich Tehrani, TMC’s Chief Executive, ”Per usual, I’ll be looking forward to continued excellence from VirtualPBX in 2018 and beyond.”

Sure, the engineering team at VirtualPBX integrated Salesforce, but one of the reasons the VirtualPBX solution made the grade was because the integration brought improvements to both products. On the softphone side, users can now simply click to call contacts. And, in terms of Salesforce, it benefits from data visualizations – i.e. weekly call activity, lead responses/conversion, call duration and time to respond to leads.

The integration is a premium add-on to the Dash VoIP service, and one well worth spending a little more for. Data-driven decision-making is a sign of the times, and the results are undeniable.

“Pairing the VirtualPBX Desktop Softphone with Salesforce CRM was more than just overlapping the two systems,” said Lon Baker, VirtualPBX’s COO, “We had to ensure that each platform functioned in concert with one another as well as that the integration contributed to the value of both business tools independently, as well.”

A good craftsman may never blame his/her tools, however, without the proper tools in place projects can prove challenging. In business, it is mission critical to put the components in place to support the team and operations as a whole.
