Broadvoice Ranks on Inc. 500 | 5000 Fastest-Growing List
Milestones are important for any company, whether it's the first dollar made or the first million. There are other kinds of milestones, like awards, and recently Broadvoice took home one such award itself, named to the Inc. 500 | 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in the United States. This is actually a reflection of the market Broadvoice is in as well, as it's a major provider of not only unified communications (UC) services, but also session initiation protocol (SIP) trunking services.
With such a recognition, there's really only one metric to consider, though it's made up of several separate sub-metrics, of sorts, at once. It's all about the growth, and Broadvoice has seen no shortage of growth in recent months. In the last year alone, the company grew a reported 150 percent, adding new investment into its overall operations, as well as into its channel operations and technological development.
Working not only in UC and SIP trunking but also in cloud-based private branch exchange (PBX) operations, Broadvoice can offer, among other plans, a complete unlimited voice calling platform for enterprise-level users, making it a popular choice among those looking to save money on that monthly phone bill. Plus, there's the Broadvoice Communicator, a system that offers not only voice and video connectivity, but also real-time messaging options, presence tools, a hosted email platform, and more, all geared toward better driving a mobile workforce.
Broadvoice CEO Jim Murphy commented, “I'm honored to be named to the Inc. 500 | 5000. "We have seen phenomenal growth in the last year, with triple-digit advances in revenue from our channel ecosystem. This is also thanks to the hard work on the part of a talented and dedicated internal group of people. We are a company that is built on community values- we believe in investing in people, processes and portfolio, and in our inclusive, diverse company culture. I believe our growth showcases that.”
Growth exhibited here is, as noted previously, the result of a combination of factors. One, Broadvoice is by itself an excellent company, offering a terrific product at a price many users can get behind. That by itself would only matter so much, however, without the second major component: the market. Economic weakness has led many companies to consider how best to cut costs, and looking at communications prices has been a point of contention for many firms. Switching from a landline system to a cloud-based equivalent, or something similar, has been a great way to get the same—or even better—service while also cutting costs, and that combination is hard to pass up.
Between a terrific offering and a market eager for such offerings, Broadvoice has distinguished itself as a firm that delivers value in staggering quantities. That value means big things for Broadvoice, as its new listing on the Inc. 500 | 5000 has proven conclusively.
