Business interactions power a firm’s success; whether it’s a conference call with the team (in or out of the office), a video meeting with a current or perspective client, or a call to the call center communication is mission critical to the SMB all the way up the line to the Fortune 100 enterprise.

Today, cloud-based communications and collaborations provider Nextiva announced the selection of AudioCodes session border controllers (SBCs) for its Business Communications Services. In specific, AudioCodes SBCs will play an integral role in the provision of hosted voice capabilities to new customers.

"Adding AudioCodes SBCs to our offerings allows us to support any PBX on the market," said Josh Lesavoy, Chief Information Officer at Nextiva. "For our customers, this device will significantly reduce their switching costs and require less configuration on their end for a simplified setup process. The integration of AudioCodes Mediant SBCs into our network and management systems was seamless, and we look forward to a great partnership with the AudioCodes team."

AudioCodes is an industry-leading converged voice solutions provider, enabling firms to make the all-IP transition for voice. The SBCs provide fully automated deployments, saving on deployment costs and diminishing the need for on-site expertise. As a result, the newly formed solution takes most of the headache out of cloud and PBX integration by fitting into place perfectly with Nextiva’s current service model.

"We are proud to be selected as Nextiva's SBC partner, and are looking forward to working together to support customers as they migrate to cloud communications services," said Yehuda Herscovici, Vice President Product at AudioCodes. "Nextiva is one of the fastest growing cloud communications companies and the selection of AudioCodes' Mediant SBCs is a validation of our technological superiority and commitment to the support and growth of our cloud customers' businesses."

In its 10 year history, Nextiva has lived up to its aim of providing exemplary customer service—the first communications company to ever receive Frost & Sullivan’s Customer Service Leadership Award. Gaining new customers is one thing, but providing innovative and reliable communications solutions in conjunction with its exceptional service keeps clients coming back.

The joint venture of these two industry-leading firms sets up for a ‘cloudy’ and collaborative future, poised for prosperity.
