Dialexia, a provider of VoIP-based telecommunications solutions, has announced the launch of Office PX, a new all-in-one IP-PBX solution for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The latest addition to Dialexia’s Office X series appliance, Office PX was developed jointly with Patton Electronics, a manufacturer of data communications products and network equipment.

The Office PX appliance provides businesses with reliable and feature-rich VoIP communications to upgrade legacy PBX systems without necessitating a complete replacement of equipment. The solution is deployed in a matter of hours and can integrate with existing PSTN lines and analog phone equipment, ensuring the transition to a VoIP system is seamless and affordable while fitting neatly into long-term equipment and network upgrade strategies. Furthermore, the company’s unique approach eliminates the need for time-consuming tasks during deployment such as system installation, configuration and troubleshooting,

The solution’s impressive list of VoIP features puts it right on par with larger competitors and includes interoffice communication capabilities, remote worker support, an intuitive Web-based administration interface, SIP trunking compliance, fax support, device provisioning, Busy Lamp Field, WebRTC technology, failover and high availability support, unified communications (UC), an Automatic Call Distributor (ACD) module and auto-attendant Interactive Voice Response (IVR). Office PX also comes pre-installed with Dial-Office IP-PBX VoIP software to help businesses drive productivity, improve customer service and reduce operating expenses.

Patton supplied its SmartNode Open Gateway Appliance (SNOGA), an open hardware platform with an integrated VoIP Gateway, to serve as the core of the Office PX appliance. The standalone solution can support as many as 500 extensions and 64 simultaneous calls.

Commenting on the company’s partnership with Dialexia to develop the customized solution, Patton’s CEO Robert R. Patton said, “We are of course delighted Dialexia chose our SNOGA to build their Office PX solution on. Their high-quality PBX software is a great application for our open hardware platform. We look forward to a long and prosperous partnership with Dialexia.”

The Office PX appliance is now available, and those interested are encouraged to contact a company representative to discuss their business’ particular needs.
