Revolabs, a provider of wireless unified communications products for the enterprise, announced the launch of the Revolabs FLX, a wireless conference phone designed for small- to mid-sized conference rooms, executive offices and SOHO environments.
Based on Revolabs' wireless audio technology, the Revolabs solutions deliver superior sound quality for audio and video conferencing to large conference rooms and boardrooms. With the newly launched Revolabs FLX, small office conference calls, executive office communication, and home office communication will benefit from that superior wireless audio performance at affordable prices.
“We are pleased to be able to offer our superior wireless audio technology to small- and mid-sized conference rooms with our new Revolabs FLX system. All of our FLX microphones and speakers support wide band audio, delivering natural-sounding audio in all environments,” said JP Carney, chief operating officer at Revolabs, in a statement.
“This is a huge advantage for companies seeking to enhance their unified communications and collaboration strategy,” Carney added.
The wireless Revolabs FLX is expected to evolve the conference phone into several distinct components, giving callers unprecedented freedom with respect to placement and accessibility of the speaker, microphones and dial pad. With the release of the Revolabs FLX, Revolabs completes their unified communications offering for the entire enterprise.
“The Revolabs FLX redefines the conference speakerphone product category,” said Ira M. Weinstein, senior analyst and partner at Wainhouse (News - Alert) Research. “The combination of wireless operation, high quality wide-band audio, 128-bit encryption, integrated Bluetooth, support for both analog and IP, and a sub-$1,000 price point makes the FLX worthy of consideration by small, medium, and large enterprises.”
Recently, SiTel Semiconductor and Revolabs announced that the new HD Wireless Microphone family from Revolabs features SiTel’s SC14480 single-chip Green DECT (News - Alert) IC. The new Revolabs HD product line includes wearable and tabletop microphones, plus wireless adapters for handheld and ear-set microphones.
