Mu Dynamics Announces Expansion into Federal Government

By Stefanie Mosca, TMCnet Web Editor

Mu Dynamics, Inc., the leader in testing next-generation network IP services has announced its expansion into the Federal government to address the needs and challenges facing government agencies. Mu Dynamics’ (News - Alert) easily deployable testing solutions provide a comprehensive solution for the key requirements identified around information assurance, cyber security and IPv6 migration.

Greg McDermott, Mu Dynamic’s new director of federal operations has had a large role in Mu Dynamics’ expansion in the federal marketplace. McDermott ‘s primary role will be to further build and maintain an already-successful federal effort.

Mu Dynamics has also formed an alliance with Four Points Technology, a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business dedicated to providing IT products and professional services to the federal government. Four Points Technology will now represent Mu Dynamics’ full suite of products on its GSA (News - Alert) schedule and NASA SEWP contracts, an alliance that will benefit both companies.

“Ten percent of our business has already been in the federal marketplace,” Dave Kresse (News - Alert), CEO of Mu Dynamics told TMCnet. “We have a number of customers who’ve taken advantage of specific aspects of our testing that help around cyber security, information assurance, the IPv6 migration, or any procedures the government is trying to implement.”

Kresse explained that it’s about putting the right vehicles in place to make it easier for prospects inside of the government who are interested in Mu Dynamic’s solution to be able to procure Mu’s solution.

“We continue to see growing interests in the area where we really help benefit our customers in the government.  MU Dynamics believes it’s a logical time to make these steps and make these investments,” Kresse added.

With the Mu solution, agencies can implement automated testing processes supporting information assurance and cyber security, and verify the security posture of government information systems. Mu Dynamics also has the unique capability to help analyze the compatibility and interoperability of the computing environments of information systems including core enterprise services, web-based software systems and applications.

Stay tuned to TMCnet for more information involving Mu Dynamics and the IPv6 migration, later this week.
