VanillaSoft's User Friendly Auto Dialer Systems Save Time and Money

By Kelly McGuire, TMCnet Editor

Lead management and telemarketing software provider VanillaSoft has many platforms within its product portfolio that increases sales turnover for a company in the customer relationship management, or “CRM,” industry, its auto dialing feature offers preview and progressive dialing which creates call continuity.

In fact, VanillaSoft officials said that both systems can increase a CRM company’s call activity – and, therefore, its productivity – by 25 percent or more.

“The system’s compatibility with your legacy telephone system means that you won't have to throw away your investment in your current system while still being able to benefit from the auto-dialing features,” VanillaSoft officials said, adding that this also helps a company save up to $150 per month in additional auto dialing feature expenses.

In comparison with other CRM preview dialing systems, VanillaSoft’s system gives users the ability to look at the lead information before initiating the call simply by clicking on a phone number. Known also as “Click-to-Call,” this functionality gives sales agents the right direct, on top of the company’s call routing system that helps increase productivity and manage calls.

With VanillaSoft’s progressive dialing, a sales agent – immediately following a lead – will receive a record on the computer screen’s system and the next phone number is automatically dialed. According to company officials, this dramatically increases productivity and removes the “dead time” from the calling process.

While the company offers both auto dialing systems, neither systems allows more telephone lines to be dialed out than the number of agents in a sales team. Why?

“Predictive dialing puts little value on leads, and we believe that in addition to significant hang-ups the response delay with predictive dialing creates a negative atmosphere before the sales process even begins,” VanillaSoft officials said. “Pre-recorded message dialers are becoming more heavily regulated due to negative public reaction, and VanillaSoft has chosen not to support this type of calling.”

However, while the company refuses to support the negative side of pre-recorded message dialers, there are various telephone systems that VanillaSoft auto dialer systems can use.

The company’s auto dialing systems can easily integrate with analog telephones that connect through a computer’s modem, perfect for sales agents that work out of their own home. Using an analog phone – telephony application interface, or “TAPI,” – users can access either auto dialing system from anywhere, making remote access easy and hassle free.

With more and more businesses using digital lines in their office that run off a digital switch of PBX (News - Alert), VanillaSoft’s auto dialer systems support all major PBX brands. Additionally, the company supports traditional VoIP or Internet phones that follow a similar setup as regular analog phones.

Soft phone, a software-based telephone that runs on a computer, is also supported by VanillaSoft’s applications. Using a USB headset, sales agents can make calls without having a single wire around, and only utilizing a PC and high-speed Internet connection.

With a soft phone system, sales agents spend little to no time through operational steps, and can accurately focus on the task at hand, making calls and driving sales.

Lastly, open source PBX Asterisk (News - Alert) is fully support by VanillaSoft’s auto dialing systems. Most commonly used with an X-Lite soft phone, the system also works with TAPI-enabled components, making it user friendly for any company requesting services.
