TEM Partnership Ushers in New Era of Global Delivery Capability

Two communications organizations have joined forces to offer the industry’s alleged “first” localized global telecom expense management solution.
 
Dimension Data, a global IT solutions and services provider, has signed a global partnership with Invoice Insight (News - Alert). According to the agreement, Dimension Data will offer a managed communication service, which combines telecom lifecycle management of telecommunications services and lifecycle management of network technologies.
 
Some of the challenges in managing telecom expenses include complex billing, continually changing inventory and decentralized spending. Local service providers are often selling to facility managers at regional offices that are eager to buy telecom services on their own, according to the Aberdeen (News - Alert) Group.
 
Company officials said the partnership combines Dimension Data’s established global footprint and unrivalled capability to plan, build, support and manage enterprise communication infrastructures, with Invoice Insight’s award-winning BillPort Telecom Expense Management technology.  Together, the two companies can deliver a powerful TEM solution for multinational organizations.
 
Invoice Insight has been processing telecom invoices in multiple languages and currencies for the largest U.S.-based multinationals for the past four years, according to company officials.
 
Dimension Data has a local presence in the firm’s top 40 international markets, and a successful track record of delivering localized communications solutions on a global basis, according to Invoice Insight’s chief executive.
 
“This partnership with Dimension Data ushers in a new era of global delivery capability for TEM. It’s also good news for international customers, as TEM typically slashes telecom costs by 10 percent to 30 percent,” Invoice Insight CEO Dave Spofford (News - Alert).
