Pelephone Partners to Deploy Telecom Cost Management Solution

As the first Israeli mobile operator with over 2.8 million subscribers, Pelephone Communications has selected MIND C.T.I Ltd so to deploy an effective telecom expense management solution. Providing convergent end-to-end billing and customer care product based solutions for service providers, MIND shows full support for its MVNE (mobile virtual network enabler) operations. After partnering with several MVNO carriers, Pelephone is the first cellular provider with a number of new carriers.

Pelephone will take advantage of the multi-provider easy configurable platform to deploy MIND’s billing and customer care platform, thus ensuring Pelephone’s expansion in the Israel’s dynamic telecom market. Running in parallel to existing billing system, MINDs convergent end-to-end billing and customer care solution offers maximum flexibility to Carriers while reducing the cost of operations. In a release, Shimon Hertz, Pelephone's VP Information Technology, said, “Pelephone chose MIND after considering a number of options. We have chosen MIND as its complete platform provides the flexibility needed as we develop the MVNO operations and based on the impressive track record of MIND's on-time deliveries. We believe MIND will be a great partner for the long term.”

In a release, Monica Iancu, Chairperson and CEO, said, “We are excited to have been selected for the first time by a tier one operator in Israel. We are committed to Pelephone's success in their MVNO platform operation and hope to be able to expand our partnership.”

By providing a complete range of billing operations for any business model, MIND deploys unique solutions for Wireless, Wireline, VoIP and Quad-play carriers spread across 40 countries worldwide. With over twelve years of experience in providing solutions to carriers and enterprises, MIND runs offices in the United States, UK, Romania and Israel.

Established in 1986, Pelephone Communications serves more than 2.8 million customers, and has about 4,300 employees. Out of the 200 sales and service centers, Pelephone employs about 200 disabled employees within one service center. Based on 3.75 generation HSPA technology, Pelephone launched its high-speed GSM network allowing customers to benefit from state-of-the-art devices, content and applications. Using the local mobile content space, Pelephone communications has provided MIND with the number of subscribers and volume of content services usage.
