PBX-Change Decides to Use LogiSense's EngageIP Software for Billing

By Ed Silverstein, TMCnet Contributor

PBX-Change has decided to use LogiSense’s (News - Alert) EngageIP software for billing its retail and wholesale customers, the companies announced in a statement. EngageIP is a hosted software product that manages customers, their invoices and related operations.

An IP voice and data provider, PBX (News - Alert)-Change says it will use EngageIP software for voice, DSL, T1, Web Hosting and Metro-Ethernet offerings. It chose the software product from LogiSense after careful scrutiny.

“The LogiSense team truly separated themselves from the other vendors under consideration with their unmatched responsiveness and attention to detail throughout the entire RFP process, which reinforced our perception of the high level of service we would receive as a customer,” Bill Heinz, director of wholesale services for PBX-Change, said when explaining why they chose the EngageIP product.

“Our decision to deploy EngageIP was also in large part due to the strength of the EngageIP integration with BroadSoft (News - Alert), its ease-of-use and scalability,” Heinz added. “We needed to ensure that our customers enjoy a powerful solution that is both reliable as well as cost-effective.”

EngageIP will let PBX-Change manage its subscribers in “billing, rating, service management, technical support and complex provisioning,” the company said.

EngageIP meets network usage management requirements. These can be applied to cost allocation, billing, traffic management, telecom rating, customer care and IP services delivery, LogiSense said.

“The PBX-Change deployment is really a testament to the strength of the EngageIP framework,” explains LogiSense founder and President Flavio Gomes. “Regardless of the size or complexity of an organization, EngageIP allows providers to operate as efficiently as possible within their own defined set of business rules.”

LogiSense Corporation said it provides management software for operators in the converged IP services market. In addition to PBX-Change, other LogiSense customers include: Infosat, DigiWeb Ireland, Telesphere, PCCW, MSTAR, DigiWeb, Microsoft (News - Alert) and Reuters.

TMCnet recently reported that KeyOn implemented LogiSense's EngageIP billing, operations support/customer resource management (OSS/CRM) platform. The platform provides secure, end-to-end bill processing, order management and customer information management for KeyOn's (News - Alert) wireless broadband and related services, according to TMCnet.
