ATCOM Business Telecom Solutions has signed a deal with Triangle Orthopaedic Associates, P.A., to provide the practice with the latest Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP
) technologies.
The practice will use VoIP to communicate more effectively with their existing locations, and to connect to future sites.
One of the largest orthopedic practices in North Carolina, Triangle Orthopaedic Associates has over 25 physicians and 11 offices throughout the Triangle, Oxford and Roxboro. The practice currently has four locations connected by VoIP, and three additional locations will be connected by the end of this year.
ATCOM’s VoIP solution will link the offices together allowing for seamless communication between offices. Thanks to VoIP connectivity, patients can be easily transferred from one office to another in order to set appointments, speak to physicians and check on insurance and billing. Also, the technology will enable centralized voice mail to create a more efficient messaging system. Moreover, employees will have four-digit dialing between offices to allow easy access to other departments and offices.
David Finch, president and CEO of ATCOM Business Telecom Solutions said in a statement that they are pleased to work with Triangle Orthopaedic Associates. He added that this Voice over IP
application will allow the practice to transfer calls between offices and better serve the needs of their patients.
ATCOM Business Telecom Solutions, a communication solutions provider founded in 1979, is one of the industry leaders in business telecommunications with an expertise in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP).
