TalkSwitch telephone systems are now fully interoperable with BandTel’s (News - Alert) SIP
Trunking architecture. The move will enable customers to chose from a set of toll-quality VoIP dialing plans from BandTel, and connect to them through a TalkSwitch (News - Alert) telephone system at their office.
BandTel announced this development as the company prepares for a set of presentations by its top executives at this year’s INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East, taking place this week, January 23-26, 2007 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
With the BandTel/TalkSwitch system in place, customers should be able to reduce their telecom charges and gain access to enhanced network services. TalkSwitch’s systems hybrid capabilities enable customers to keep their connections to the traditional telephone network without having to acquire additional equipment.
“More and more, businesses of all sizes are beginning to see the benefits to switching from a legacy phone system to one that is IP-based, as they begin to understand the features and functionalities that augment SIP-based IP
PBXs,” commented BandTel’s CEO Chris Dunk in a statement. “TalkSwitch has a solid reputation for providing best-of-breed, next-generation IP telephone systems. By partnering with TalkSwitch, we are giving SMBs instant access to cost savings and enhanced features that they cannot get with legacy phone Telco offerings.”
The news follows BandTel's recent deal announced just last month with Epygi Technologies, a VoIP IP PBX
supplier. The companies agreed to market VoIP for small and medium sized businesses (SMBs).
BandTel’s architecture is also interoperable with Epygi’s (News - Alert) Quadro IP-PBX product line. The new partnership will allow the companies to offer VARs and SMBs an interoperable solution which combines BandTel’s global ITSP network with Quadro VoIP
IP PBX (News - Alert) systems by Epygi.
