When it comes to selecting VoIP solutions, interoperability between products is a key consideration. PBX
manufacturer Epygi (News - Alert) Technologies understands that, which is why the company works with other businesses in the industry to develop bundled solutions and make sure that different devices play together nicely.
Epygi’s most recent interoperability announcement involves VoIP
service provider NetLogic; that company’s VoIP Choice product is now certified compatible with Epygi’s Quadro line of IP PBXs and gateways.
The certification process is a two-way street in this case, with NetLogic also giving its PBX (News - Alert)-Preferred stamp of approval to Epygi’s QuadroCS, Quadro Gateway, and Quadro IP
PBX products.
“This strategic partnership between NetLogic and Epygi will help ensure a positive VoIP experience for customers by providing users with the advanced features of VoIP at minimal risk because both companies have tested and approved the combined solution,” Epygi president and CEO Mario Cuello said in a statement.
In the announcement, NetLogic explained that its VoIP Choice service stands out because the provider manages the connection all the way from its origination at the phone system to delivery at the PSTN
, using Quality of Service (QoS) technology. The result is very high quality voice service.
“Our reciprocal certifications are significant because Quadro users can enjoy voice-optimized, high quality connections over VoIP Choice connections,” said Mike Morey, president and CEO of NetLogic, in a statement. “The combination eliminates the jitter
and garble associated with many VoIP deployments.”
