Connectivity is a cornerstone of the digital age, a keystone of the cloud era and is propelling the hybrid workforce. Sitting alongside connectivity on the Mt. Rushmore of modern of operations is security. When WFH became a widespread reality, the enterprise was faced with hurdles, and SD-WAN service providers are assisting in overcoming these struggles.

Colt announced the arrival of SD WAN Remote Access, a new feature that offers users secure access to applications and data regardless of location.

Colt’s Vice President Product Portfolio, Peter Coppens, noted “Enterprises are at a turning point in the way they work and building the network infrastructure to support hybrid working is one of the most prevalent and pressing concerns of enterprises globally today. The hybrid model presents a range of new requirements and challenges around delivering secure remote access, irrespective of location or device.

The release is the first from Cold based on Versa SASE. The key Colt partner is empowering the SD WAN provider to offer a secure, scalable network that can be easily managed from a single pane of glass. The announcement marks a key milestone in the Colt product roadmap, as it continues to work toward creating a comprehensive, fail-safe, SASE solution – so stay tuned, there will certainly be more to come.

“Building on our network infrastructure, SD WAN Remote Access has been designed to support secure hybrid working for our customers, and provides easily managed, end-to-end protection across their networks,” Coppens continued.
