Fortinet Secure SD-WAN Finalizes MEF 3.0 SD-WAN Certification
It’s been a few years since SD-WAN earned its wings, and since the transformational technology has been nothing short of full steam ahead. It’s cloud or bust for enterprises around the globe, and as more critical applications are migrated, and the security landscape evolves, organizations like MEF (News - Alert) offer a roadmap for success via standards and certifications.
Fortinet (News - Alert) Secure SD-WAN earned MEF 3.0 SD-WAN service certification. Since joining MEF in 2017, Fortinet has worked diligently to assist in developing industry standards.

Made up of 200 members from the around the world, MEF standards mean the guarantee of performance, agility and assurance. Validated by MEF’s SD-WAN Authorized Certified Test Partner, Spirent, Fortinet met the rigorous MEF 70 standard. In addition, Fortinet is spearheading MEF Applications Committee on Application Security (News - Alert) for SD-WAN Services (MEF 88).
