SD-WAN is impacting industry around the globe, as network performance is crucial to the success of organizations large and small. Digital transformation is leading business toward a software-defined, cloud powered future; it is a brave new world.

GTT announced that global provider of flowers, plants, fruits and vegetables Greenyard selected the GTT managed SD-WAN service to support its 80 North American and European locations. In addition, Greenyard will leverage the GTT SIP Trunking service for UC support.

“Greenyard has taken decisive steps to consolidate, transform and modernize our ICT infrastructure to run mission-critical cloud applications, which is instrumental to our company’s future competitiveness,” commented Luc Verbist, group director, ICT at Greenyard. “GTT’s SD-WAN, SIP Trunking and industry-leading global network are the foundation for our cloud strategy and its resulting cost efficiencies.”

GTT’s global, Tier 1 IP backbone delivers secure, private connectivity enabling service providers to provide exceptional application performance. The GTT selection promises redundant connectivity with an active-active configuration guaranteeing the demanded resiliency.

“We are pleased to extend our relationship with Greenyard, by adding SD-WAN and SIP Trunking as part of its cost-efficient cloud migration strategy,” stated Rick Calder (News - Alert), GTT president and CEO. “We look forward to continuing to support Greenyard’s ICT transformation and helping connect their people around the world and to every application in the cloud.”

There’s no time to dawdle in the digital age, especially when fresh and frozen veggies are on the line.
