TBI Adds Application-defined SD-WAN to Offerings

Applications empower business operations, so why isn’t your SD-WAN application defined? It’s a simple question. In the midst of the digital transformation taking hold, our SaaSy and software-defined reality is driving and enabling a new era of networking. The benefits of SD-WAN are widely known, so no need to tell you about the cost savings and performance improvements. However, it recently got a bit easier to get your hands on an application-defined SD-WAN solution.

Recently, CloudGenix announced a signed master agent agreement with TBI, which makes the industry’s first application-defined SD-WAN available for distribution via the TBI partner network.

“Enterprises want more than a better router,” said Jeff Newton, vice president of enterprise sales and IT at TBI. “By partnering with CloudGenix, we can now offer them a radically simplified, cloud-first network built on business intent and application reachability.”

TBI plays a key role, consulting and advising organizations on how to maneuver the digital landscape and overcome obstacles along the way – with a specialty in upgrading old, outdated solutions; cloud migration or deployment; and increasing bandwidth. So, the CloudGenix Instant-On Networks (ION) family fits nicely in its portfolio of offerings. With the ION family, enterprises need not worry about hardware routers or routing protocols, and can easily set up application SLAs and business rules.

“Partnering with TBI was an easy decision for CloudGenix,” said Kumar Ramachandran (News - Alert), CEO of CloudGenix. “TBI's extensive portfolio of solutions, as well as its unique capabilities in handling provider relationships and back-office support make it an important partner as CloudGenix continues to drive adoption of our SD-WAN to help businesses save time and money in their transformation efforts.”

CloudGenix is charging ahead in the SD-WAN space. Willing to put the ION SD-WAN up against any in the space – see what happened against Cisco’s solution – and guided by innovation in areas of need like cloud applications, and software in general, this Silicon Valley start-up is certainly primed and poised to make a whole lot of noise.

If you’d like to learn more about SD-WAN and the digital transformation, be sure to check out TMC (News - Alert) and Crossfire Media’s newest conference and expo, Communications 20/20, happening July 18-20 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
