VoX Communications to Offer Digital Phone, Video Service to NeoMagic

By Rahul Arora, TMCnet Contributor

According to a recent announcement by Pervasip Corp., its wholly owned subsidiary, VoX Communications (News - Alert), has signed an agreement with NeoMagic Corporation to offer VoX Communications' digital phone and video service.

"We are very pleased to be working with NeoMagic as they roll out our video product to their customers,” said Pervasip's chief information officer, Mark Richards, in a press release.

“NeoMagic is very familiar with the Ojo Vision video phone. NeoMagic was one of the original companies to sign up with Worldgate Communications.  Worldgate had initially offered video phone services and the Ojo Vision phone direct to resellers and consumers prior to changing their business model to OEM partners for the phone only. VoX has been very grateful for the leads offered by Worldgate and is looking forward to helping NeoMagic market the incredible Ojo Vision," Richards added.

VoX Communications is a leading provider of wholesale Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) cloud-based telephony solutions. Recently, VoX Communications introduced a mobile VoIP App to deliver VoIP telephone services for the residential and small business markets with high quality voice services, flexible back-office capabilities and automated provisioning systems.

VoX also relies on other companies, fring and Nimbuzz (News - Alert), to deliver its mobile VoIP application to an Android device.  Now, a consumer can install a VoX app directly on an Android tablet or smart phone in an easy download.  VoX is working to automate this download so that it can be purchased anywhere in the world from mobile VoIP app websites. The app can be used on all Android (News - Alert) mobile phones.

"We look forward to working with VoX Communications," said Syed Zaidi, NeoMagic Corporation's President and Chief Executive Officer. "VoIP services are becoming more pervasive in the business communications landscape and the consumer market, which has created good business opportunities for VoX Communications. We are pleased about the prospect to work with VoX Communications in promoting their digital phone and video service."
