VoIP Logic Unveils New Wholesale Billing Module

By Divya Narain, TMCnet Contributing Editor

VoIP Managed Services leader VoIP Logic (News - Alert) has released a new wholesale billing module for its Cortex middleware solution. The new billing solution, Cortex Wholesale Billing, is an integrated NextPoint (News - Alert) solution that can be used by all NextPoint customers who work with VoIP Logic.

"With the highly competitive nature of the telecommunications market, all wholesale service providers demand a reliable, cost-effective billing solution, and must monitor profitability and productivity," said Micah Singer (News - Alert), VoIP Logic CEO and founder, in a statement. "Our Cortex Wholesale Billing is a truly value-added service that we are confident will not only strengthen our position as a leader in NextPoint technology distribution, but will also allow our customers to improve their gross margins in a thin-margin sector of the VoIP industry."

Cortex converges all the required components of a VoIP rollout at a single point. Using Cortex, service providers can not only provision and manage but also bill all aspects of an Enterprise, Consumer, Voice 2.0 or Wholesale VoIP offering.

A few months back, VoIP Logic agreed to provide NextPoint customers across the globe, with direct sales and technical support. NextPoint's MSX technology is the most widely used VoIP Peering (News - Alert) system globally. With the launch of Cortex Wholesale Billing, tracking and billing costs and profitability will become a breeze for NextPoint peering customers.

A prominent provider of VoIP managed services and solutions, VoIP Logic assists telecommunications service providers around the globe in building and managing customized, flexible and scalable IP telephony rollouts. Established in 2003, VoIP Logic offers a complete range of fully neutral, on-demand solutions. The Williamstown, Massachusetts-based company has hosting hubs in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
