Communicado's Streamline Solution Now Rated "Avaya Compliant"

By Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor

Communicado has announced that its Streamline Network Assessment solution is compliant with key IP Telephony solutions from Avaya (News - Alert). Communicado is a provider of management solutions for converged voice and data communications networks that carry real-time person-to-person business communications.

Communicado is a member of the Avaya DevConnect (News - Alert) program – an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products. Apart from extending the value of a company’s investment in its network, it also interoperates with Avaya technology.

Communicado (News - Alert) is eligible to submit products for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab in Lincroft, New Jersey as gold member of the program. There, each application will be verified to check whether it is Avaya compliant by a team of Avaya engineers who develop a complete test plan for each application.

This allows companies to confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network. To achieve this, they do not have to replace their existing infrastructure, which quickens the deployment of new applications and reduces both network complexity and implementation costs.

By assessing the current state of the network, identifying potential problem areas beforehand, and recommending a prescriptive course of action, Communicado's Streamline Network Assessment solution helps businesses leverage the benefits of Voice over IP (VoIP) and Unified Communications (News - Alert) applications. This assures a better quality of experience for the end user. The application is now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with its Communications Manager and IP Office solutions.

Steve Rizzone, CEO of Communicado, said, “We are pleased with the addition of our Streamline Network Assessment and Monitoring solution into the Avaya partner ecosystem and are excited about the benefits this will bring to businesses of all sizes as they embrace the potential of VoIP and Unified Communications. These new applications bring many new benefits – along with many new challenges – to the support staff responsible for the successful deployment and operation of these systems.”

“Streamline was designed from the ground up to address these new environments and provide everything needed on a single platform to provide the best quality of service possible. We are pleased to work with Avaya to offer complementary solutions that will help both customers and partners alike,” added Rizzone.
