Tone Software and Communicado to Deliver Converged Communications Management Technology

Managed service provider Communicado (News - Alert) and Tone Software today announced a technology partnership designed to deliver expanded quality and service level management capabilities for converging IP Telephony and Unified Communications (News - Alert) environments.

 
 The integrated solution combines comprehensive, platform-independent voice quality and performance analysis with in-depth voice fault management and service level assurance, resulting in a powerful "best of breed" solution that ensures quality converged communications service delivery across virtually any technology mix.

The integrated Communicado and Tone offering delivers a platform- independent convergence management solution that supports the full gamut of TDM and IP gear from Avaya, Nortel, Cisco, Siemens, NEC (News - Alert), Mitel, etc. Since both the companies are Avaya DevConnect Development Partners, they are able to offer Avaya Compliant tested solutions that seamlessly deliver pre-net assessments, fault, performance, QoS, traffic, and capacity management for voice environments at various stages of transitioning from legacy TDM technologies to IP enabled architectures.

The delivery model is particularly attractive to VARs and Managed Service Providers seeking to cost-effectively expand their offerings to encompass the broader convergence management and unified communications services their clients demand, without making expensive NOC (News - Alert) investments and incurring staff overhead increases.
